Vjerna pratilja Crnoboga je Morana (Mora, Morena, Marzana), zla boginja zime i hladnoće koja predstavlja zatorne sile zimske prirode. Njezina snaga je najjača za zimskoga doba, kada se pojavljuje u liku zle žene koja juri na metli kao Ježibaba, Jaga baba, baba Ruga, baba Roga. U ostalim godišnjim dobima zna se pojavljivati u obliku mlade, ali pohlepne i pohotne žene koja se noću uvlači pod kućne krovove kako bi izjedala slabiće (posebice duhovno slabu djecu i momke). Još i danas mnogi vjeruju kako Morana noću napada svoje izabranike, te ih u snovima tišti i zaustavlja im disanje. Poznata je i kao svadljivica, te kao zagovornica izdaje i osvete.
faithful companion of Crnobog is Morana (Mora, Morena, Marzana), the evil Godess of winter and coldness, who represents destructive powers of winter nature. Her streanght is the strongest during the winter, when she appears in the form of evil woman who flies on the broom as Ježibaba, Jagababa, Baba Ruga, Baba Roga. In other seasons she appears as a young but greedy and lustful woman who drags under roofs in the night to torture weaklings (specially weakspirited children and boys). Still today many belive that Morana attacks her chosens in the night and she bugs them in dreams and stops their breathing. She is also known as quarrelsome woman and as pleader of betrayal and revenge.
